About Me

Hi, I’m Caroline, the groomer behind Glamour Pooch, your local dog groomer between Lytham and Preston, serving the whole Fylde Coast.

I’ve spent over 20 years working with animals, and I still feel lucky every single day to do what I do. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in Dog Grooming, and I’ve even helped develop national dog grooming and animal care qualifications.

I’m also an award-winning dog groomer. But, what matters most to me isn’t the trophies, it’s the trust. I love creating beautiful, balanced styles for every breed, but the real reward is the bond I build with each dog, from their very first puppy trim right through to their golden years.

With my background in animal behaviour and science, I notice the small details. Changes in coat, skin, or body language, that help keep dogs healthy and comfortable. Every groom includes a full health check and a calm, caring approach, so your dog always feels safe and understood.

At Glamour Pooch, I take a whole-body approach to dog grooming, caring for each dog from nose to tail, and considering their physical and emotional wellbeing every step of the way.

When I’m not grooming, you’ll find me with my own two Standard Poodles, Walt and Disney, who I love to compete with, or spending time with my two horses. Animals have always been my world and it’s a privilege to care for yours.
